Chris Kayser is a cybercriminologist. He has written two books: “How to Master an Online Degree – A Guide to Success”, which he wrote after completing his Masters degree in Cybercrime Investigation and Cybersecurity through Boston University. It has become recommended reading in a number of university-level courses.

His second book, “Cybercrime through Social Engineering – The New Global Crisis,” examines many aspects of the human element as it relates to how cybercriminals use social engineering to manipulate users of technology into succumbing to cyberattacks.

Chris’ theory – RESCAT (Required Elements for a Social Engineered Cyber Attack Theory) was published in 2020 in a Cybercrime: A Peer-Reviewed Journal by Henry Stewart Publications in London, UK. His ongoing research into the human dimension of cyber-victimization continues to draw interest from academia, as well as users of technology, globally.

Chris is a sought-after speaker, advisor, and consultant in the field of cybercrime investigation and cybersecurity, and continues to collaborate with other experts involved in cybercrime research.
